The Role:

Remitly's Analytics teams are at the core of our business, using data and insights to drive improvements across the end-to-end customer experience.

We are setting up an analytics rotation programme within the London office. This is a structured one-year programme which gives the opportunity to rotate around four analytics areas (Product, Business, Marketing, and Pricing analytics). In each area, you will be guided and mentored by an experienced Remitly analyst, and at the end of the year you have the opportunity to move into one of these four areas. Full training and support will be provided through the programme. Previous analytics experience is valued but not necessary.

The year-long programme will begin in March/April 2023 based in our London office. Applications will close on 14th January with interviews beginning in late-January.


You Will

Gain wide experience in analytics within a fast-growth FinTech, spending three months in each of Product, Business, Marketing, and Pricing analytics. You will build a significant understand of the end-to-end Remitly experience across customer onboarding, retention, and pricing

Examples of the each of the teams' tasks are listed below:

  • Pricing: This team sets prices for all of Remitly's corridors, using econometrics and to understand our customer behaviour in different markets and find the price structures that best resonate with our different segments.
  • Product: This team helps make our product better for our customers in multiple ways, such as designing and reading tests to help more customers send transactions, finding more efficient ways for our customers to verify who they say they are, and managing fraud losses from bad actors without causing undue burden on our good customers.
  • Business: This team analyses customer behaviour in each of our markets to identify ways to improve our services across the business.
  • Marketing: This team analysis and helps plan marketing activity across different channels to deliver the most effective marketing investment returns.

You Have

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, ideally with a statistics background
  • Some experience with technical skills (e.g., SQL, R, Python) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) is preferred but not required
